Apple releases updated models of their laptops

In the MacBook line, the size (13.3″) remained the same, but now they have two aluminum models, similar to the Pros. They also retained the white plastic model but cut its list price to $999. The aluminum models start at $300 more and have faster graphics performance through a new NVIDIA graphics chip.
The MacBook Pro has a new aluminum unibody, faster processor and larger hard drive. It includes two different graphics chips, one for performance and one for battery economy, with a simple keyboard switch between. This is important mainly to gamers and video producers.
Also introduced is a new 24″ LED Cinema Display with built-in EyeSight camera, microphone and speakers. The screen, available next month, will cost $899. It will work with the new laptops, but none of the previous models, which lack a Mini DisplayPort connector, different from the mini-DVI ports they have had up until now.
