As the representative from LIMUG I attended the Snow Leopard Server seminar yesterday at the World Trade Center in Portland Oregon.

This Snow Leopard Server seminar was sponsored by Mac force and Apple. One of the things that they brought up to begin the seminar was the fact that the Snow Leopard operating system actually had 90% of the internal workings updated and changed.

After the above tidbit of information they want to tell us about Snow Leopard Server. The information included Grand Central Dispatch, open CL, Microsoft Exchange, and Leverage Power.

Snow Leopard Server was actually a major new release of the OS as compared to Snow Leopard as the client operating system. I’m following up the rest of this post with my notes. These notes are in no way complete but will be offered to you in quasi bullet format.
